Privacy
Burrowkin does not ask for accounts. The site uses analytics and displays advertising, and both can set cookies or similar identifiers in your browser.
What the site collects
The site is served by Cloudflare, which processes standard request data such as IP address and browser type to deliver pages and protect against abuse. We do not use that data to identify readers. We also use Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, which report how the site performs in search results and do not give us data about individual visitors.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4. We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people read. It sets cookies and collects device and browser details along with the pages you view. Google describes its handling in the Google partner-sites policy, and you can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Microsoft Clarity. Clarity records how visitors use a page, such as clicks and scrolling, and can play sessions back as replays. We use it to find pages readers get stuck on. Microsoft's terms are in the Microsoft privacy statement.
Advertising
Adsterra. The site displays ads served by Adsterra. Adsterra and its demand partners may set cookies or use similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, including interest-based ads. What they process is described in the Adsterra privacy policy. You can limit interest-based advertising through the industry opt-out pages at aboutads.info and youronlinechoices.com, or by blocking third-party cookies in your browser. Ads are labelled, and advertisers have no say in the care information on this site.
Your choices
If your browser's time zone is in Europe, which we use as a rough stand-in for the EEA, UK and Switzerland, we ask before loading Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity or ads, and nothing from them loads until you accept. Elsewhere they load by default. Either way you can change your mind at any time with the "Cookie choices" button in the footer. If you decline, the site shows no ads and runs no analytics. We also treat a Global Privacy Control signal from your browser as a decline. Your choice is stored in your browser only, under the name bk-consent.
